Who is a new website for in Boynton Beach?

For a service business, the website’s job is to produce calls and form submissions. Three kinds of Boynton Beach owners need the build to do that in different ways.

Contractors and home-service companies. The site’s job is the phone call. It needs each service on its own page, the areas you cover and a number a visitor can tap. A searcher who typed a service and Boynton Beach should see both answered on the page they land on. Our home services marketing page covers the wider program for these businesses.

Care communities and medical practices. The site should explain each service on its own page, answer the questions families and patients ask about care levels and providers, and make contact easy. Before a contact form or a tracking tag goes on a medical site, put the question to your compliance contact, because patient privacy rules cover both.

Storefront owners inside the CRA area. Shops and studios inside the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency boundaries can find a local program on the CRA’s page that reimburses part of a website. The next section has the terms.

What do Boynton Beach owners decide before they hire a web designer?

Before you approve a design, settle four things: who pays, what the phone shows, who holds the accounts and which platform runs the site.

Can a local grant pay for part of the site?

The Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) lists a Commercial Business Marketing Grant Program. Its page lists “website development and enhancement” among the eligible expenses, next to digital ad campaigns and branding (Boynton Beach CRA, program page, undated, read October 19, 2026).

The program is a reimbursable grant with a maximum of $2,500 per business. To apply, a business must sit in a commercial property inside the CRA area, be open and operating, and hold valid City of Boynton Beach and Palm Beach County Business Tax Receipts. It must also show a need for marketing help. The page says an application does not guarantee funding and that the CRA Board decides.

Reimbursable means you pay the bill first. Before you sign a contract with any designer, ask the CRA whether an expense incurred before approval is eligible, and get the answer in writing. The grant rules belong to the CRA, so check its page for the current terms.

What does the phone show first?

91% of U.S. adults own a smartphone, and 15% own one but do not subscribe to home broadband (Pew Research Center, Mobile Fact Sheet, 2024 survey fielded February 1 to June 10, 2024). These are national figures and not Boynton Beach counts, so treat them as a reason to test your own site on a phone.

Ask your designer to show every page on a phone before showing the desktop version. Tap the phone number. Fill in the form with your thumb.

Read the first screen without scrolling and see whether it says what you do and where. Our website design and development page quotes Google’s documentation on how the phone version is used for indexing.

A visitor who finds you on a map listing lands on your site next. The phone number, the service names and the business name should read the same on the site as they do on your Business Profile, because the visitor sees both within a minute and a mismatch raises a doubt. Ask the designer to put the same contact block in the footer of every page, so the number is one tap away wherever the visitor lands.

Whose name is on the accounts?

Four sets of logins keep a site running: where the domain is registered, where it is hosted, the platform or WordPress admin, and Google tools such as Analytics and Search Console. Your business should be the registered owner of each, with the designer added as a user. A designer who holds the domain in a personal name can make a later move slow and expensive.

Our guide to who owns your website and marketing accounts lists what to ask for. At launch, request a written list of every login and who holds it, and store that list somewhere the owner can reach without calling the designer.

Which platform runs the site?

With WordPress.org you pick the host and install the software there. Wix and Squarespace keep the hosting in-house, which brings tighter limits on what you can change. Wix allows a maximum of 5,000 redirects per site and says a Wix site must be hosted on Wix’s servers (Wix Help, no date shown, read October 19, 2026). Our WordPress vs Wix vs Squarespace vs Shopify guide sets out each vendor’s own help-page statements with dates, and the table below applies it to Boynton Beach businesses.

Which platform fits which Boynton Beach business?

Compare the platforms below, then check the current features of the plan you are considering. Plans change, so none of the vendors’ prices are quoted here.

What should you ask a web designer in writing?

Send these questions to any designer you are considering, including us, and keep the answers.

  1. Which pages will the site have, and what is the job of each one?
  2. Who writes the text, and who approves it before launch?
  3. Where do form submissions go, and is that an inbox your business controls?
  4. What happens to the addresses of today’s pages if they change?
  5. What speed results will you show, and are they measured on visitors’ devices or in a lab test?

Question 4 matters most when the current site already earns calls. In a site move, Google advises permanent redirects set on the server for every changed address, and says to keep them as long as possible, generally at least one year (Google Search Central, site moves with URL changes, updated August 20, 2026). Changing page addresses without redirects can cost you the search traffic those pages earn.

Who builds the site?

Donnie leads SEO strategy, Jay Hebbar handles design and development, Roni Strompf writes content and runs paid media. The team page gives each role. We build on WordPress, and the service page also says who should look elsewhere.

Once the site is live, it still has to be found. Our SEO services in Boynton Beach page covers that work, and the digital marketing agency in Boynton Beach page lists every service with prices. We serve businesses across the county from Boynton Beach, and the Palm Beach County page lists the cities.

FAQ

How much does a website for a Boynton Beach service business cost?

We publish no dollar figure for a website. The page count, the integrations, the content and any store set the work, so a quote follows a call. The monthly services have ranges on the pricing page, so you can compare a site against SEO, Business Profile and Google Ads fees before you decide.

Should a contractor choose WordPress or a drag-and-drop builder?

Because the business picks its own host with WordPress.org, an open source project, it can move to another host later (WordPress Learn, last modified March 26, 2026). Wix and Squarespace bundle hosting into their plans and cap changes, a trade that can suit a small site the owner edits alone. Check redirect and export limits before you commit.

My PageSpeed Insights score is low. Is the site slow for customers?

Not necessarily. PageSpeed Insights shows field data from Chrome users over the previous 28 days and lab data from one simulated page load (Google PageSpeed Insights documentation). They can disagree, and web.dev says field data is what to use to prioritize your efforts. A new page may have no field data yet.

How do I check a site on a phone before I pay for a redesign?

Open it on your own phone and tap every button. Chrome DevTools device mode helps, but Chrome’s documentation calls it a first-order approximation and says to run the page on a mobile device when in doubt (Chrome for Developers, updated February 20, 2024). Check the form, the phone link and the first screen.

Does my current site need replacing or repairing?

Open the Performance report in Google Search Console and group it by pages to see which ones earn clicks (the default view covers the past three months, per Google Search Console Help). Keep the addresses that earn visits. If you can edit them, repair first. Replace it when the platform blocks needed changes; see the redesign SEO checklist.

Can my office manager update the site after launch?

On WordPress, yes. WordPress.org’s role documentation says an Editor can publish and manage posts and pages, including other users’, but cannot install plugins or themes or manage users (updated September 2, 2026). Give staff the Editor role and keep the Administrator login with the business owner.
