Who is Business Profile management for in Boynton Beach?

Senior living and memory care communities. The results page does much of the first screening. In the search described further down, each community appeared with a star rating, a review count, a review excerpt and a Website button before a single page of its own site had loaded. Check that the category, the hours and the phone number on your community’s listing are correct.

On October 15, 2026, Perplexity listed a memory care community in Boynton Beach we work with, with a link to its site, for a memory care search in Boynton Beach; its site recorded 56 sessions from AI engines in the six months to October 14, 2026. Our healthcare and senior care marketing page covers the other services these communities buy.

Medical practices, including dental and therapy offices. A medical practice needs one accurate name, one primary category and one set of hours, even when several providers work there. Google’s guidelines say to show a business the way its signage and stationery show it, and to choose the fewest categories that describe the core business. A practice that lists every service as a category works against that second rule.

All four listings in the memory care search below printed “Open 24 hours”, which suits a residential community. A practice has the opposite problem, because the hours line sits under its name on the results page. Keep it accurate. Ask your compliance contact before any public reply mentions a patient or a visit.

Home-service contractors, including those who work from home. The City of Boynton Beach requires every new business, home-based ones included, to hold a business tax receipt before it begins work, and it keeps a separate home-based application (City of Boynton Beach, retrieved October 2026). A contractor with no shop front must also decide what address the profile shows. Google’s guidelines ask for an address or service area that is accurate and precise, and it has separate rules for service-area businesses. Our service-area business guide walks through them.

The same city page says the Business Tax unit verifies any state or local licensing a business needs, and it names the Health Department and the Construction Industry Licensing Board among the agencies involved. A contractor or care provider that holds a license should check that the name on it matches the name on the profile.

Check that the name on your tax receipt, your vehicle lettering and your Google profile match.

What does a Boynton Beach memory care search show on Google?

A search for “memory care boynton beach” on October 19, 2026 returned a block of four local listings above the web results. Three were unsponsored and one was marked Sponsored. Each showed a star rating from 4.6 to 4.8, a review count from 50 to 164, a distance of 1.9 to 3.6 miles from the searcher and an “Open 24 hours” line. Three added a short review excerpt, and all four had Website and Directions buttons.

Under the local block, the first organic result was a directory page. A People also ask box, a community website and a block of two sponsored results followed, and further organic results were mostly community websites.

All four carried the same label, Assisted living facility, although the search said memory care. Google’s category help page says the categories you select can be used to assign a label to your business, and that you cannot create a category of your own. If your community offers memory care, check the category label Google shows for it and whether your description mentions that service in plain words.

That was one search, from one browser, on one day. A different searcher, a different distance or a different hour can change the order, and the page does not show how Google ranked the four.

Google’s local ranking page says local results are mainly based on relevance, distance and prominence, and that there is no way to request or pay for a better local ranking. On distance, it says Google uses what it knows about a customer’s location when the customer does not share one. The management fee covers work on your profile. It does not buy a position.

The fourth listing in that search was an advertisement. A paid listing and the unpaid ones sit side by side, so a community’s profile competes for attention with an advertiser. Google Ads management is a separate service, priced at $600 to $1,000 a month plus ad spend on the pricing page.

The profile also reaches AI answers. In our October 17, 2026 study of 120 AI answers about Palm Beach County, Google AI Mode showed Business Profile cards in 39 of its 40 answers. The study covered dentists but not senior care, and for the Boynton Beach dentist question no business was named by two engines.

What should a Boynton Beach owner compare on their own listing?

Search your service and Boynton Beach as a customer would, and read the first screen. Then set your own profile beside it.

  1. The label. Note the category label under your name and under your competitors’ names. Google says the categories you select can assign that label.
  2. The numbers. Compare your rating and review count with the listings above and below yours.
  3. The hours line. The results page prints it. Match it to what is on your door.
  4. The two buttons. Tap Website and Directions on a phone. The page that opens should answer the question the search implies.
  5. The unanswered reviews. Scroll for reviews with no reply. Google says replies show that you value feedback.

FAQ

What does Business Profile management cost for a Boynton Beach care community, practice or contractor?

Good At Marketing lists Business Profile management at $450 to $650 a month on its pricing page, which publishes no setup fee and no per-location rate. A community, a practice and a contractor each pay a monthly fee from that range. Ask on a call what a second location would add.

How does Google verify a Boynton Beach business, and can I choose the method?

You cannot choose. Google’s Help page says verification methods are determined automatically and cannot be changed. Depending on your business type, public information and hours, the options can include phone or text, email, a live video call or mail. Google says the review takes up to 5 business days.

How many categories should a care community or medical practice choose?

Pick one primary category that best describes the business, and choose a specific one from Google’s list over a general one. Google’s guidelines then say to use the fewest categories it takes to describe your core business. You cannot create a category, and editing one may prompt Google to ask you to verify again.

What can I fill in on my profile besides categories?

Attributes, such as Wi-Fi or outdoor seating. Google says the attributes you can edit depend on your business category and location, and customers can supply some. A review of your edits usually takes about 10 minutes, though it can take up to 30 days.

How do I report a fake review on my profile?

Open your profile, choose Read reviews, select Report beside the review and pick a reason. Google says you can report any review, but only policy violations are eligible for removal, and evaluation typically takes several days. It tells owners not to report a review just because they disagree with it.

Why does my profile rank differently for customers in Delray Beach or West Palm Beach?

Google names distance as one of three main factors, with relevance and prominence, and defines it as how far a business is from the person searching. When a customer does not share a location, Google uses what it knows about it. The same search from two addresses can therefore return two different orders.
