Good At Marketing helps manufacturers and industrial companies get found when buyers search for products, specifications and suppliers, using SEO, Google Ads, AI visibility and email. SEO runs $1,000 to $1,600 a month and Google Ads management $600 to $1,000, and every price sits on our pricing page.
I’ve done SEO since 2008, and we work from Boynton Beach, Florida, with manufacturers and industrial companies across the United States. This page covers who we have worked with, what we have measured and what we charge. It also covers life science and biotech companies, whose buyers are experts.
Who we have worked with in B2B
MBMI Metal Buildings is the client I point to first. In my words: “MBMI was my first national number one, for ‘Steel Buildings’ and ‘Metal Buildings’, and it took 12 to 16 months.” That is why I do not quote 30-day results for national terms in an industrial category.
The 2026 picture comes from the AI engines. On October 15, 2026, ChatGPT and Perplexity both named MBMI first for buying a pre-engineered metal building in Florida. MBMI’s site recorded 209 sessions and 12 key events from AI engines in the six months to October 14, 2026.
Digicare Animal Health is a B2B manufacturer. On October 15, 2026, Perplexity named a Digicare patient monitor as its top pick for a small animal practice.
A Dallas outdoor kitchen maker was named first by ChatGPT on October 15, 2026 for luxury stainless and sintered-stone outdoor kitchens. AI engines were 1.3% of its traffic in the six months to October 14, 2026, the highest share in our portfolio.
Each of those is a snapshot from one day or one six-month window. eMarketer reported on April 2, 2026 that between 40% and 60% of cited sources change month to month across Google AI Mode and ChatGPT. We check these results again every month and promise none of them.
What is different about B2B buyers
On the B2B sites we work with, a purchase often involves several people, and each one reviews different information. We have no survey number for that, so treat it as our observation from the sites we run.
| Who in the buying group | What they look for | The page that serves them |
|---|---|---|
| Engineer or technical lead | Dimensions and tolerances, plus certifications | A product or specification page with the data in a table |
| Purchasing or operations | Lead time, ordering process, who to call and what a quote needs | A page on how to order and how quoting works |
| Owner or executive | Proof that other companies bought and were satisfied | A case study or a named client with a dated result |
We can see visits in analytics, but analytics does not tell us how many people at one company are involved in a purchase. Early visits matter even though the form fill comes late, so we judge B2B work on more than form fills.
Vendor research now includes AI tools. Ahrefs put AI chatbots at about 0.28% of web traffic in March 2026 (article published May 15, 2026).
That share is small. Our view is that a buyer asking an AI tool for a shortlist forms an opinion before anyone visits a site, so being named matters more than the traffic number suggests. We cannot measure that opinion, and we say so.
SEO for product and specification pages
We build product and application pages around the searches buyers make. A buyer types a category such as “steel buildings” or a use, and a page for exactly that has to exist, load fast and carry the specifications as text a crawler can read.
We write or rebuild the product and application pages, and you approve every page before it goes live. For a national category the climb is long, as MBMI showed. SEO services cost $1,000 to $1,600 a month for a baseline plan, and a crowded national category can reach about $3,500.
When product pages need a rebuild, our website design and development service covers the build.
Content for the questions technical buyers ask
We write or update pages around the questions technical buyers ask, and you approve every page before it goes live. AI engines draw on the same material when they describe your category. See our content marketing services for how that work runs.
Google Ads for category searches
We run Google Ads for product and application searches while SEO work is underway, which reaches the buyer who is ready to ask for a quote. We build campaigns around the category and application terms buyers use. Google Ads management costs $600 to $1,000 a month, and you pay Google the ad spend separately.
AI visibility
We measure AI visibility three ways each month: referral traffic in GA4, and live buyer-style prompts in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, with every answer and URL saved. We improve product information and document which AI tools mention your company. AEO services are $950 to $2,000 a month, sold alongside SEO. You can start with the free AI-visibility audit.
Email for the long cycle
We use email to follow up with people who requested a catalog or a quote and have not placed an order. Our email marketing services are priced on the pricing page.
What each service costs
| Service | What it does for a B2B company | Monthly price |
|---|---|---|
| SEO | Product and application pages, technical fixes and a monthly report | $1,000 to $1,600 baseline, up to about $3,500 in competitive markets |
| Google Ads | Paid search for category and application terms | $600 to $1,000 plus ad spend paid to Google |
| AEO | Work to be named in AI answers | $950 to $2,000, sold alongside SEO |
| Content marketing | Pages that answer technical and buying questions | See the pricing page |
| Email marketing | Follow-up to people who asked for a catalog, spec sheet or quote | See the pricing page |
Prices reviewed October 2026. We set no separate B2B price. Cost follows how competitive your category is and how much site work you need, and the pricing page lists every range.

How we report on a long sales cycle
You get a monthly report. A closed sale is recorded in your own system, which limits what any report can show in a long sales cycle.
Results arrive slowly in this field, and we will not give you a date for page one.
Life science and biotech companies
Biotech, life science and research buyers are scientists, procurement staff and partners who test a claim before they trust a company. We have not named a biotech client on this page. What we do for the vertical is build capability pages and application pages for niche searches, and edit technical content that your scientists write or review.
We write no scientific, clinical or regulatory claims of our own. You approve every page before it goes live. If your product is regulated, tell us at the start which statements need sign-off.
Who this is not for
If your buyers arrive only through distributors or trade shows and nobody searches for what you make, SEO will produce little. A 15-minute call is enough to find out whether that describes you.
For manufacturers in West Palm Beach, see our digital marketing agency in West Palm Beach page. The other business types we work with are on the industries we serve page.
FAQ
How much does B2B marketing cost for a manufacturer?
SEO starts at $1,000 to $1,600 a month and can reach about $3,500 in a very competitive category. Google Ads management is $600 to $1,000 a month plus ad spend, and AEO is $950 to $2,000 alongside SEO. We have no separate B2B rate, and the pricing page lists all ranges.
How long does B2B SEO take?
It depends on the category, and national terms take longest. MBMI Metal Buildings took 12 to 16 months to reach number one for “Steel Buildings” and “Metal Buildings”. Narrower product and application searches can move sooner. We guarantee no ranking date, and Google controls the results.
How do you measure results when a sale takes months?
A sale is recorded in your own system, so the first things we can count are leads and calls. We also measure AI visibility each month with GA4 referral traffic and saved prompts. Early on, lead quality tells us more than raw form fills, since one correct inquiry can outweigh many wrong ones.
Do B2B buyers use ChatGPT and Perplexity to find vendors?
Some do, and the share varies by product. Ahrefs measured AI chatbots at about 0.28% of web traffic in March 2026, and on October 15, 2026 Perplexity named a Digicare patient monitor as a top pick. The free AI-visibility audit shows what these tools say about your company today.
Do you work with biotech and life science companies?
With limits. We build capability and application pages and edit technical content your experts supply. We write no clinical or regulatory claims of our own, and you approve every page before it goes live. We have no biotech client to name here, so ask for a call with Donnie Strompf before deciding.
