Legal marketing for law firms in South Florida: SEO, Local Services Ads and Google Ads

We offer legal marketing for South Florida law firms: SEO, Google Business Profile management, Local Services Ads and Google Ads. SEO runs $1,000 to $1,600 a month, up to about $3,500 in competitive markets, and the other three services are priced separately. Every figure is on our pricing page.

I’ve done SEO since 2008, and we work from Boynton Beach with businesses across Palm Beach County and the rest of South Florida. This page lists what we charge and what a law firm should weigh before hiring an agency.

The law firm we work with

We work with one personal injury law firm in Boca Raton. On October 15, 2026, Perplexity listed the Boca Raton law firm, with a link to its site, for a pedestrian accident search in Boca Raton.

That listing is a snapshot from one day on one AI engine. eMarketer reported on April 2, 2026 that 40 to 60% of the sources AI tools cite change every month. We treat a listing as something to check again next month, and we promise none.

The Boca Raton law firm case study sets that Perplexity listing next to a year of traffic, where organic search sessions stayed about level, and the rest of our client write-ups are under case studies.

What is different about legal search

We checked Google’s lawyer categories, Florida Bar rules and published SEO pricing on October 15, 2026. Each row below links to its source.

For Local Services Ads, we check whether Google has a category for the firm’s practice area and whether the account is moving into Google Ads. A firm should also download its reports before that move, because Search Engine Journal says reports do not transfer.

What the Florida Bar rules mean for the work

We are a marketing agency and not a law firm, and nothing on this page is legal advice. Your ethics counsel or the Bar decides what your ads must say and which ones you file. The Bar charges $250 for an ad filed on time and $750 for a late one, according to the filing requirements page linked above.

The Bar’s website and social media checklist, revised August 21, 2023, shows where the line sits for content. Rule 4-7.13(b)(1) prohibits content that can reasonably be read as a prediction or guarantee of specific results. Rule 4-7.13(b)(9) sets conditions for testimonials, including a disclaimer that prospective clients may not receive the same or similar results.

Our proposals promise no ranking, lead count or case count. We recommend that a firm show its counsel any testimonial or case-result wording before it goes on a page.

SEO

We write or update a page for each practice area and city a firm wants cases from, and you approve every page before it goes live. We also fix crawling and indexing problems, earn links and citations on relevant sites, and send a monthly report. We don’t guarantee rankings or promise when a page will rank.

Google Business Profile

A firm that serves clients from an office needs an accurate profile, a steady flow of reviews and a complete map listing. Our Business Profile management covers all three. Ask your counsel how the Bar’s testimonial rule applies to the way you request reviews.

Local Services Ads

Local Services Ads management suits a firm whose practice area has a Google category and which wants calls and booking requests. A firm without a category for its practice area can skip this service. The ad spend is paid to Google, and we quote our fee first.

Google Ads

Google Ads management targets keywords for the practice areas and cities you choose. We recommend Google Ads only where the numbers make sense for the firm. On the first call I look at your practice area and budget, and I will say so if your budget belongs somewhere else.

AI answers

If you want ChatGPT or Perplexity to name your firm, AEO services cost $950 to $2,000 a month alongside SEO. The free AI-visibility audit shows where your firm appears today.

Two of these services have their own pages for law firms: SEO for law firms and Google Ads for law firms.

What legal marketing costs

For law firms, SEO runs $1,000 to $1,600 a month as a baseline and can reach about $3,500 in a very competitive market. Law is one of the fields where SEO.com says businesses will likely pay more. The price moves with the competition for your practice area and the technical and content work your site needs.

Two public benchmarks give context. The Ahrefs SEO pricing survey, published December 17, 2023, found an average of $2,917 a month across 439 SEO providers. The SEO.com cost guide, updated October 2, 2026, puts typical SEO retainers at $1,500 to $5,000 a month. Our baseline price is under the Ahrefs average, and our top end for competitive markets is over it.

Ad spend costs extra, is paid to Google and is separate from our management fee. The full price list has every service in one table.

For the numbers behind each service, see our guides to what SEO costs for a small business, what Local Services Ads cost and what Google Ads management costs.

Who needs all four services

I would not recommend all four services to every law firm. A firm with a Local Services Ads category and an urgent need for calls might start with that service and a Google Ads campaign, then add SEO. A firm with a budget for the long term might start with SEO and its Business Profile. On a 15-minute call I will say which order fits your practice area and your market.

FAQ

How much does legal marketing cost for a law firm?

Our SEO baseline is $1,000 to $1,600 a month, with about $3,500 as the ceiling in a competitive market. Business Profile management is $450 to $650, Local Services Ads management is $200 to $1,000 and Google Ads management is $600 to $1,000. Ad spend is extra. The pricing page lists every service.

Does Google offer Local Services Ads for lawyers?

Google has lawyer categories for many practice areas. Its help page lists personal injury lawyer services and family lawyer services among them, and some practice areas have no category, so check the list for yours. Google is also moving these ads into Google Ads, a change that began in August 2026 for a limited group of advertisers.

Do Florida Bar rules limit what a marketing agency can do?

They apply to the firm’s advertising whoever writes it. The Bar’s filing page says a firm’s own website is exempt from filing under Rule 4-7.20(g), while internet ads fall under the filing rule in 4-7.19(a). Your counsel decides what to file. We write to the rules and promise no results.

Should a law firm start with SEO or paid ads?

It depends on the practice area, the budget and how soon cases are needed. Paid campaigns can run once an account is set up, while SEO is ongoing work whose timing nobody can promise. We look at your market on a short call and recommend a starting point, which can be one service or two.

Which South Florida law firms do you work with?

One personal injury law firm in Boca Raton is a client. We are based in Boynton Beach, and meetings run over Google Meet or Zoom. Our Boca Raton SEO page covers that market, and the industries page lists the others we serve. Other professional firms are on our professional services page.
